Elderly depression is a factor in many people’s lives whose effects run as mild as lack of energy to as severe as complications with memory and concentration. Clinical depression affects about 6 million Americans above the age of 65. Unfortunately, depression in the elderly is often overlooked and improperly diagnosed. This does not need to be the case, and there are many ways to treat symptoms that begin.
