Honoring a loved one after a death can be difficult for family and friends to organize.  With grief and sadness as the typical top emotions that a family and friends of an elder feeling, life celebrations are usually not in the realm of thinking.  There are companies, which strive to promote the celebration of a life after death.  A life celebration usually encompasses memories and favorite things of a person and highlights the achievements and milestones in a person's life.  Family and friends work closely with those people who are assigned the duty of representing the family and conveying a perfect picture of someone's life.  Depending upon the interests and preferences of a person the life celebration ceremonies will be different.  Some locations of life celebrations have pertinent meaning to the person.  Elderly people should consider planning for death and how the family and friends will carry out the end of life ceremonies and rituals.  There are many things to consider.  The funeral and cemetery and the funeral services are just a few things that if planned for in advance will be smooth after the passing of a loved one.  Some people have specific preferences with regard to location of funeral services or religious and spiritual beliefs, which will tailor how the funeral services or life celebrations will go.  All of these things are best to be discussed with a senior aged person while he or she is able to make these decisions, based on their wishes, of their own opinion and feelings.
