Home Alone in Los Angeles

In big cities like Los Angeles it’s easy to walk past a senior’s residence and just assume that he or she prefers to stay in, but confinement can be a form of elder abuse.  Pay attention to changes in an elderly friend’s behaviors.  For years you may have seen a senior in your neighborhood coming outside to get the mail or water their flowers, but upon receiving senior care the senior is no longer seen outside of the home, ever.  Honestly, you may feel like a nosy neighbor or friend, but it certainly doesn’t make you one to care about someone and want to know why there has been a strange change in behavior.  Ask questions or stop over to visit and see if there is an explanation for the senior’s change of behavior like a medical concern or issue or a change in physical condition.  If you are not able to explain why it appears as if the senior has had a change in behavior, you may consider asking the senior if there is any reason for concern.

NJ Elder Care

NJ Elder care is a very imprecise term when you’re living in New Jersey and trying to specifically find what you need.  The term ‘elder care’ can encompass a wide variety of useful services and products, and the more you know about what is available, the sooner you’ll be able to find the care you need.
