Home Care Nurse

Not all individuals who progress in age make the decision to reside in a nursing home. There are many seniors who choose to remain at home, requiring and requesting at-home care. With this choice comes the need for plenty of care and attention to the individual, which may not be practical for families and friends. Research has shown that about 6-7% of adults age 65 and older are in need of some form of at-home care. As age increases, the severity in need for this assistance also increases, hence the likely need for a home care nurse.
