Simply put, there are degrees to the levels of senior care providers that one may need as they age. From simple home cleaning or cooking assistance for a some in home care to spending part of one’s day in adult day care senior centers, to living in a retirement home or retirement community — these are all choices that are for relatively healthy, active seniors. When one is less healthy or less active, then home nursing care may be needed, or the choice to have a bit more help in either an assisted living facility, or even a nursing home. Then there may be the need for a memory care unit or an Alzheimer’s care facility, for those suffering the effects of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, etc.
